Your file. Your balance.

Choose a preset, or set JPEG quality and target DPI independently. Start with Balanced and adjust to suit your document.

Lossless keeps image encoding and resolution. Other modes may change image quality. A 100% JPEG setting is not lossless.

How it works

From a full folder to lighter files.

  1. 01

    Add your PDFs

Drag files into the app, use Add PDF, or open them from Finder.

  2. 02

    Choose and compress

Select a preset or your own quality and DPI settings, then start the batch.

  3. 03

    Compare and export

Check the result and export one file or all smaller results to a folder you choose.

A few things worth knowing.

Will every PDF become smaller?

No. Savings depend on the document. Already optimized PDFs may not shrink further. The app only keeps smaller results that pass its validation checks.

Will my original file change?

No. The app works on a local copy and exports separately. It refuses to overwrite an existing file; batch exports add a number when names conflict. Export your results before quitting.

Which PDFs are not supported?

Encrypted, digitally signed, fillable, damaged, and zero-page PDFs are skipped. The app does not add OCR or compress to a specified target file size.

Your documents stay yours.

No upload is part of the process. Read exactly how the app handles files and how this website works.
